By accessing or using ydapp.in or the YD App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Use of Service
YD Connect is a digital platform facilitating Graduate and Post Graduate students with study material — Summary Books, IMP Question Banks, and Past Papers — aligned to the Gujarat University syllabus, in English and Gujarati medium.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (OTP-based access). Each account is intended for single-device use as specified during purchase.
3. Purchases and Payment
- Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and may change without prior notice.
- Payments are processed securely via Razorpay.
- Upon successful payment, access to the purchased semester/subject content is unlocked instantly in your account.
4. Content Usage and Restrictions
- All content (Summary Books, IMP Books, and Past Papers) is the intellectual property of YD Connect and is protected under Indian copyright law.
- Content is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only by the purchasing student.
- You may not copy, screenshot, reproduce, redistribute, resell, or share our content with any third party.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any account found violating these restrictions.
5. Nature of Content
YD Connect is a reference material provider for the Gujarat University syllabus. Our Summary Books, IMP Question Banks, and Past Papers are prepared as study aids to help Graduate and Post Graduate students revise and understand the syllabus efficiently — they are reference material, not official university publications or a substitute for your prescribed textbooks and faculty guidance.
6. No Guarantee of Accuracy
While we make reasonable efforts to keep our content aligned with the Gujarat University syllabus, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or error-free nature of any content, and we do not guarantee any specific exam results, grades, or outcomes from using our material. Students are advised to cross-verify important information with official Gujarat University resources and their respective faculty.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep our app and website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may cause temporary downtime.
8. Prohibited Conduct & Security
You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:
- Hack, breach, or gain unauthorized access to our website, app, servers, or database by any means.
- Bypass, circumvent, tamper with, or disable any payment, login (OTP), content-protection, or security mechanism used by YD Connect.
- Access, view, download, or unlock any paid content without completing a valid payment.
- Screenshot, screen-record, photograph, copy, extract, or reproduce our content in any form.
- Download, rip, decompile, reverse-engineer, or scrape content from the app or website using any tool, script, bot, or third-party software.
- Share, forward, upload, resell, publish, or distribute our content — in full or in part — to any other person, group, website, or platform, whether free or paid.
- Use another person's account, or allow your account/login to be used by anyone else, to access purchased content.
- Exploit any bug, vulnerability, or loophole in our systems to gain content access or benefits you have not paid for.
Any of the above actions constitute a serious violation of these Terms and may amount to a criminal offense under applicable Indian law, including but not limited to:
- The Information Technology Act, 2000 (unauthorized access, hacking, and data theft — Sections 43 and 66).
- The Copyright Act, 1957 (unauthorized reproduction and distribution of copyrighted material).
- The Indian Penal Code / Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita provisions relating to cheating, fraud, and criminal breach of trust, where applicable.
YD Connect reserves the right to:
- Immediately suspend or permanently terminate, without notice or refund, any account involved in such activity.
- Pursue civil and/or criminal legal action, including but not limited to filing a police complaint, claiming damages, and seeking injunctive relief, against any individual or entity found engaging in such conduct.
- Recover legal costs and damages incurred due to unauthorized access, content piracy, or security breaches from the responsible party.
- Report such activity to relevant law enforcement and cyber-crime authorities.
By using our website or app, you acknowledge that our content is the protected intellectual property of YD Connect and agree to use our services strictly within the bounds of a valid, paid, personal license as described in Section 4.
9. Limitation of Liability
YD Connect is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to exam performance.
10. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
